Duke and Duchess of Sussex to take Archie with them on official visit to South Africa 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have revealed they will take their son Archie with them when they make an official visit to South Africa this autumn.

In addition, the Duke will visit Angola and Malawi at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, but his wife will stay in South Africa with months-old Archie for the duration of the trip, it is understood. 

Harry will also undertake a working visit to Botswana while in the region and in a social media post, they said it would be their “first official tour as a family”.

This will be their first official tour as a family.

Baby Archie will be around five months old when his parents take him on his first official overseas trip.
