L-Orizzont announces a €12 million agreement between the government and the church to provide 190 beds for the elderly every year. Parliamentary Secretary Anthony Agius Decelis said the investment will guarantee the best conditions for residents and staff.
The paper also says that a new scheme will make electric scooters available to elderly visitor to Valletta with mobility difficulties. The scooters will be stationed close to the bus terminus and are equipped with a tracking system.
