Ed Sheeran has hit back at rumours he’s retiring from music after reports circulated that the singer-songwriter had made the announcement at the final show of his Divide Tour.
It was reported ‘a source close to the singer’ revealed he had plans to ‘quit music and settle down’.
On Thursday, the 28-year-old ‘Shape of You’ singer took to social media to clarify the ‘dramatic’ reports.
“I’m not bloody retiring either, press are being overly dramatic,” he said in an Instagram story.
“I’m having 18 months off to make another album and hang out with my cats.”
