Education Commissioner confirms plans to recruit foreign teachers to make up for the shortage – The Headlines: The Times

The Times also asked the Prime Minister about any intention to resign, to which he insisted that he is completely focused on his job. The paper says speculation that Muscat will stay on has grown since an unsuccessful attempt to secure a top EU position.

The Times reports that the Education Commissioner will investigate the lack of teachers, which he says is coming ‘close to a crisis’. The commissioner confirmed plans to recruit foreign teachers to make up for the shortage.
