Emirates and AC Milan have announced the extension of their long-running partnership, reinforcing one of football’s most enduring and successful collaborations. The renewed agreement will see Emirates continue as the Italian club’s Principal Partner, Official Airline Partner, and Official Men’s Jersey Partner.
Under the new deal, the airline’s “Fly Better” logo will remain on the front of AC Milan’s Men’s First Team shirts across all major competitions, including Serie A, Coppa Italia, UEFA and FIFA fixtures, and international friendlies. The Emirates logo will also feature on the jerseys of the AC Milan Academy youth teams, supporting the development of emerging talent.
Emirates will benefit from a wide range of activation rights, including LED branding at San Siro and training facilities, exclusive digital content, fan engagement initiatives, and premium hospitality experiences. The renewed partnership will also introduce new global fan activities such as international watch parties.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said the renewal “builds on shared values and a mutual commitment to excellence,” adding that the airline’s deep ties to Italy make this “a natural next step” in connecting Milan and other Italian cities to Emirates’ global network.
AC Milan Chief Commercial Officer Maikel Oettle described the agreement as “a testimony to one of the most historic and admired collaborations in football,” emphasising that the partnership will help the club strengthen its foundations and engage new generations of fans worldwide.
First established in 2007, Emirates’ relationship with AC Milan was elevated to Top Institutional Sponsor in 2008 and became the official jersey sponsorship in the 2010/2011 season. To mark AC Milan’s 125th anniversary, Emirates unveiled a special A380 livery featuring the club’s colours and crest. The club also recently opened a new office in Dubai to expand its commercial presence in the region.
Emirates’ commitment to football includes partnerships with leading clubs such as Real Madrid, Arsenal, Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, and FC Bayern Munich, as well as title sponsorship of The Emirates FA Cup. In the UAE, the airline continues to support the UAE Pro League and Al Ain FC.
The extension with AC Milan reaffirms Emirates’ leadership in global sports sponsorship and the club’s standing as Italy’s most internationally supported football team.
