England to face Spain in Euro 2024 final

England has reached the final of the Euros for the second consecutive time after defeating the Netherlands 2-1 in Dortmund.

A last-minute goal from substitute Ollie Watkins secured the dramatic victory for England, just minutes after Bukayo Saka had a goal ruled offside.

England will now face Spain in Sunday’s final in Berlin, following their best performance of the tournament so far.

Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate is receiving much of the praise for the win, as the decisive goal was both created and scored by substitutes he brought on with around 10 minutes remaining.

Cole Palmer, who came on for Man City star Phil Foden, picked up the ball in midfield and passed it to Watkins at the edge of the area. Watkins took a touch before firing the ball into the bottom left corner of the Dutch goal.
