Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni firmly expressed her commitment to defending the family as a pillar of society and to counteract the introduction of gender theory in schools, as well as to oppose the inhuman practice of surrogate motherhood. She echoed what voters said in terms of underlining the importance of considering these issues as signs of obscurantism rather than progress, highlighting the approval of a law aimed at making renting a uterus a crime that can also be prosecuted abroad.
Furthermore, she underlined the importance of the upcoming European elections, considering them decisive for real change on the continent, promoting the unity of European conservatives as the engine of the continent’s renaissance. Her determination to pursue common political objectives also at a European level was proudly emphasised, highlighting the central role assumed by Fratelli d’Italia and the growth of Vox as a significant political force in Spain.
This vision received the support of the leader of the Rassemblement National, Marine Le Pen, who underlined the importance of freedom and the convergences found with Giorgia Meloni and Salvini in the European Parliament, highlighting a common commitment to the freedom of the European peoples.
