A general view of moats protecting Wolseong, the royal palace of the ancient Silla Dynasty (57 BC-935 AD) in Gyeongju, some 370km southeast of Seoul, South Korea, unveiled after repair work that started in 2018.
The moats are up to 40 meters wide and 500 meters long. Wolseong Palace is part of the Gyeongju Historic Areas, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
