A picture taken by a drone shows a blackhoe loading floating plant debris and communal waste onto a barge at the barrage of Kiskore hydroelectric power station at Kiskore, eastern Hungary.
This year a record amount, some eight tons of driftwood and plastic accumulated at the Kiskore barrage during the spring floods.
The debris is removed from the River Tisza in a vast operation of regional waterworks and private companies as well as civil groups, which will last about four months.
