Eurostat figures show that Maltese holidaymakers are the EU’s third-highest spenders – The Headlines: The Malta Independent

The Malta Independent says that the Central Bank has revised the GDP forecast for 2019 downwards by 0.1 percent after an unnamed project in the private sector has been delayed. The paper indicates that the project likely refers to the City Centre development in Pembroke.

The Malta Independent quotes Eurostat figures showing that Maltese holidaymakers are the EU’s third-highest spenders, paying nearly as double the EU average per night. Maltese tourists spend around €630 per individual on holiday.
