EU’s Vestager to be questioned on US economist by lawmakers on Tuesday

BRUSSELS, July 17 (Reuters) – EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager will be questioned by EU lawmakers on Tuesday on her hiring of a U.S. economist for a key EU antitrust job, her communications adviser told Reuters on Monday.
