Facebook Messenger was reportedly shut down temporarily on Thursday afternoon as countless users took to other social media sites to complain about its disfunction.
The issues were first spotted early Thursday afternoon by DownDetector, a site which monitoring which brands, platforms and tools are experiencing technical difficulties online.
