Facebook to introduce the dislike button

dislike fb.pngEver felt the need to express the dislike towards someone’s post or comment, but you just couldn’t? At a time where the digital media platform is experiencing itself a period of general ‘dislike’, Facebook felt that it’s time to introduce the ‘dislike’ feature.

But , there’s a catch. It is not exactly as one might expect.

According to the UK’s Independent, the button actually works as a downvote, indicated by an arrow rather than anything more disapproving like an upside-down thumb. And secondly, it is only available in New Zealand and Australia, for now, and only on certain kinds of posts.
