Finland’s Government resigns

Finland’s Prime Minister Juha Sipila will this morning be submitting the resignation of his Government to President Sauli Niinisto. Sipila decided to submit the resignation after the government’s biggest project, the health and social care reform, collapsed in parliament.

The news was given by the Helsinki Government in an emailed statement.

Finland is scheduled to hold general elections on April 14.
