The former UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd said that forcing Theresa May out of office would be a “total indulgence”.
Rudd reaffirmed her support for the Prime Minister and said she has “no interest” in mounting a leadership challenge.
Speaking on the BBC’s Newsnight programme, Ms Rudd said: “What we need is to back the Prime Minister and make sure that she has the public support of MPs so that she can get a deal with the EU.”
“The EU can see what’s going on here. We need to make sure that they’re clear that she is the Prime Minister that she has got our support.”
