Former police commissioner says all cases were investigated: The Headlines – The Times

The Times follows the Caruana Galizia public inquiry session on Tuesday during which John Rizzo, removed from police commissioner in 2013, said that he never discussed ongoing criminal probes with prime ministers and that he always ordered investigations into reports of financial crime.

A second story reports that temporary inpatient areas are being set up at Mater Dei Hospital to prepare for an expected rise in flu cases over the coming weeks. Hospital CEO Ivan Falzon said that the ‘winter peak’ is forecast to be reached towards the end of the month.
