The funeral of world-renowned Italian movie director Franco Zeffirelli will be held next Tuesday at the Duomo in Florence, his hometown.
Before the funeral, Zeffirelli will be lying-in-state at the Palazzo Vecchio on the 17th June between 11 am and 11 pm.
Zeffirelli died in Rome on Saturday at the age of 96.
Zeffirelli was the last of a generation of Italian film giants who came of age after World War Two, including Federico Fellini, Luchino Visconti and Vittorio De Sica.
He directed more than two dozen films, working with stars including Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Laurence Olivier, Alec Guinness, Faye Dunaway, and Jon Voight.
