Goodfella’s actor Frank Adonis dies

Frank Adonis, who appeared in Martin Scorsese’s GoodfellasRaging Bull and Casino along with tough-guy roles in dozens of other films and TV shows, has died. He was 83. His wife told TMZ that he died Wednesday night in Las Vegas after a long illness and had been on a venitlator.

Adonis reportedly died at his home in Las Vegas after suffering from various health issues including kidney problems.

“He helped all his friends he could. Great writer, director and actor. He was my best friend.”

In addition to playing the role of Anthony Stabile in the iconic 1990 film about the mafia, Adonis was involved in 40 other credits during his long career in Hollywood.
