Government studying possibilities of operating long-haul routes without Air Malta – The Headlines: Business Today

Business Today reveals that the government is studying possibilities of operating long-haul routes without having to rely on Air Malta. Government says that the national carrier remains the preferred option but a series of disagreements with pilots are seen as a risk.

Business Today also reports on the meeting between the government and the MDA and says that Tigne’ point has been identified as a possible dumping site. The Prime Minister said the sea zone has been used for construction waste since the times of the British.
