Growing anger in Senglea residents after parking area transferred to the American University of Malta – The Headlines: L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont quotes Prime Minster Joseph Muscat who said the General Workers Union is right in its insistence on equal pay for equal work. Speaking at a political event on Sunday, Muscat said that workers’ rights are a priority in the budget 2020.

L-Orizzont announces that the government is planning to install shore-to-ship energy points at the Grand Harbour so that berthed ships will not have to keep their engines running. Transport Malta says the system will cut emissions in the area.

L-Orizzont carries a story about ‘growing anger’ among Senglea residents after access to a parking area which has been transferred to the American University of Malta has been closed. The paper says the community is preparing to hold a protest.
