The Malta Independent quotes Archbishop Charles Scicluna who, during the Santa Marija mass in Mosta on Thursday, prayed for the migrants stranded at sea waiting for Europe to ‘open the gates of mercy.’

The Malta Independent speaks to GRTU deputy president Philip Fenech who said that Airbnb has become an intrinsic part of Malta’s tourism sector. He said that in the first six months of this year around 273,000 visitors used private holiday rentals.
