Gżira United came from a goal down to beat Hajduk Split 3-1 and reach the second qualifying round of the Europa League. They qualified thanks to the away goal rule, following an aggregate score 3-3.
Balzan were eliminated after losing to the Slovenian side Domzale 0 -1 (Agg 5-3). Hibernians were eliminated by Belarusian team Shakhtyor after loosing 0 – 1 on Thursday (Aggregate 0-2).
