Two people were injured when a hot-air balloon crash-landed north of Pretoria, South Africa.
The incident happened near the M44 in Soshanguve around 09:30 on Saturday morning (local time), Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst told Rekord.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the hot-air balloon landed in a veld next to a bus depot off the M44,” he said.
Herbst said that when paramedics assessed the scene, they found two people who had sustained relatively minor injuries and were in a stable condition.
“Once stabilised, the patients were transported by ambulance to a hospital for assessment,” he said.
It was still unclear what caused the accident.
