You’re 400 kilometres away from home, namely in the space. You turn on your Go Pro to take once in a life time photo. You press the button and the screen states ‘No SD’.

This might well be the plot of a comedy, and it’s probably funny had it not been really experienced by a NASA astronaut. Luckily NASA and the astronaut saw the funny side of it.

“Houston we have a problem”, the epic phrase is  and well suited to the history of the astronaut of NASA . The man was in space 400 kilometres away from home when he agreed that the GoPro he brought with him did not have a memory card. An oversight that has faced with much irony. In fact, by contacting the command centre he asked laughingly: “I press the button but the message ‘No SD’ appears, do you have any ideas?”. The radio silence of the base was very eloquent: for the astronaut, no selfies or viral videos.

But the video of the experience is doing the rounds. If you haven’t seen it yet, here it is.
