The Independent leads with Minister’s Ian Borg denial of suggestions that there exists any sort of pact with PL Leader hopeful Chris Fearne. Borg said that he wasn’t promised anything by Fearne, but he is promising whoever is elected on Saturday his loyalty.
The paper also reports that the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague has ordered the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe to pay millions of dollars to Malta in compensation over the arrest of a Maltese-flagged ship in 2013.
