In-Nazzjon Headlines – 18th May 2019

In-Nazzjon says that the nation has been denied of ‘another important’ debate after Prime Minister Joseph Muscat turned down an invitation by Opposition Leader Adrian Delia to go head-to-head on TV programme Xarabank.

The newspaper also says that a proposal by the European Socialists to introduce a common corporate tax rate across the EU is a threat to investment and jobs in Malta. The paper says that spitzenkandidat Frans Timmermans has repeatedly stated his agreement with such a law.
