Investigation into allegations that patients’ information leaked to funeral directors from MDH – The Times

The Times reports that the Planning Authority board will tomorrow decide on a proposal for a new fuel station in Attard. The development, which would take up 3,000 square meters of agricultural land, has been recommended for refusal.

The Times says that the office of the data protection officer has initiated an investigation into allegations that patients’ information was leaked to funeral directors from Mater Dei Hospital. The hospital has not yet formally requested a probe.
