Jacinda Ardern reveals letter by girl asking her for advice to be a ‘kind leader’

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern reveals that one of the part of her job is receiving letters from children, adding that she seriously underestimated how many there would be. However she reads every single one.

As New Zealand celebrates Children’s Day, she thanked the hundreds and hundreds of kids who believe in the simple power of a letter (and drawing!)

“No matter how many years pass, I hope they all hold onto that belief that they can make a difference….because they already do”, she said on Facebook.

Her post was accompanied by a letter, one of the many she received, sent by a girl, Emilia.
