The Times reports that during yesterday’s compilation of evidence against Fenech, Arnaud informed the court that Schembri’s phone was never examined, as he claims to have lost it. Police found a link to Keith Schembri through a chat he had exchanged with Fenech on the eve of the latter’s arrest last month. The police took Schembri’s laptop and his family’s laptops for examination when they had first arrested him in November.
The second story on The Times reports about PM Joseph Muscat, who is sticking to his departure timetable, effectively leaving office in mid January.
