Lamborghini Marks Miura’s 60th Anniversary With Record Monterey Car Week Gathering

Automobili Lamborghini celebrated its heritage and latest performance technology during Monterey Car Week 2026, bringing together a record collection of historic Miuras alongside its newest hybrid models.

At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Lamborghini displayed 43 Miuras on the third fairway, marking the largest gathering of the iconic model ever assembled. The event commemorated the 60th anniversary of the Miura, which Lamborghini described as the world’s first supercar and a model that helped establish the architecture of the modern super sports car.

The gathering came shortly after the global debut of the new Revuelto SV and the U.S. debut of the Urus SE Performante at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

Lamborghini also unveiled the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a limited series of 99 vehicles created to mark the Miura anniversary.

The company’s Lamborghini Villa hosted clients, collectors and guests throughout the weekend, showcasing the Revuelto SV alongside its hybridized model range. The lineup included the Temerario, powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid system, and the Urus SE Performante, which Lamborghini describes as its fastest and most powerful Super SUV.

The company’s Ad Personam personalization program was also featured, allowing visitors to explore a range of exterior colors, leather, wheels, brake calipers and interior materials.

Lamborghini used the Villa to highlight collaborations with luxury brands including Xerjoff, Roger Dubuis and Sonus faber. Xerjoff presented its Lamborghini x Xerjoff Blends collection and hosted a fragrance masterclass, while Roger Dubuis displayed its timepieces. Sonus faber demonstrated its handcrafted audio systems, which are also fitted in the Revuelto and Temerario.

Wheels Up hosted a cocktail experience at the Villa as part of its Wheels Down program, with tiny cocktails created by ambassador Tyler Zielinski.

The Revuelto SV was also displayed on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, alongside other major automotive debuts.

Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s chairman and chief executive, and Mitja Borkert, the company’s design director, returned as honorary judges at the concours.

The events highlighted Lamborghini’s effort to combine its six-decade history with its push into electrified high-performance vehicles.

Founded in 1963 in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, Lamborghini is known for models including the Miura, Countach, Diablo and Aventador, as well as limited editions such as the Sesto Elemento and Fenomeno.

The company now has a fully hybridized range comprising the Revuelto, its V12 high-performance electrified vehicle; the Urus SE, its plug-in hybrid Super SUV; and the Temerario, a V8 high-performance electrified vehicle.

Lamborghini says it has more than 3,000 employees and 186 dealers across 57 countries.
