Lazio earn 3-2 win against Crotone

Rome (dpa) – Lazio found a late winner from substitute Felipe Caicedo to edge 3-2 Crotone Friday as Nigerian Simy struck twice for the Serie A bottom side.

Caicedo controlled and fired home with four minutes left as the Rome hosts stayed seventh with a game in hand, while the Southerners remained last in the three-team drop zone with 11 games to go.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic volleyed in Lazio’s opener and saw Simy level into the low right corner before Luis Alberto was likewise clinical as he restored the Romans’ lead. Simy converted from the spot early in the second half but Lazio had the last laugh.
