The Malta Business Weekly quotes an international study which finds that 40 percent of Foreign Direct Investment worldwide is classified as ‘phantom’. The paper says that less than half of FDI in Malta is genuine.

The Malta Business Weekly reports that the Malta Tourism Authority won the Tourist Board of the Year at the TTG Travel Awards in London. In another story, the paper says that the Finnish EU presidency wants to tie funding to rule of law standards.
