Italian Interior Minister, Matteo Salvini discussed the resumption of direct flights between Italy and Libya in a meeting with Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq.
In the talks, the two sides also discussed security, counter-terrorism, migration, and political stability in the Mediterranean region.
Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation on issues of common concern and reactivate Libyan investments in Italy to increase trade exchanges between the two countries.
