The meeting saw discussions about joint cooperation between the two countries in illegal immigration, services sector, infrastructure projects and the support of Libyan coastguards via training programs.

Al-Sarraj, meanwhile hailed Italy’s rejection of the attack on Tripoli and support for the democratic choice of Libyans, saying the attackers of Tripoli are no longer partners in the political process.
