Liverpool crowned champions Chelsea, Newcastle seal CL spots

Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle secured Champions League qualification on a dramatic final day of the Premier League, while Liverpool celebrated their 20th top-flight title.

Liverpool drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace at Anfield and were awarded the trophy, with former legend Alan Hansen presenting it. The squad linked arms with fans to sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” and Trent Alexander-Arnold made a tearful farewell before his expected move to Real Madrid.

Newcastle finished fifth despite a 1-0 home loss to Everton, while Manchester City won 2-0 at Fulham. Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest missed out after defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea, respectively.

At Old Trafford, despite a 2-0 win over Aston Villa, Manchester United ended their worst Premier League season, finishing 15th. Manager Ruben Amorim apologized to fans and urged the club to unite and move forward after a difficult campaign.
