Ludovic Orban becomes Romania’s PM

Romania got a centre-right government on Monday, paving the way for the country to choose a new nominee for the next European Commission.

Politico reports that Ludovic Orban, the leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL), became prime minister after he secured the required majority in parliament for his proposed Cabinet. The PNL is part of the European People’s Party alliance.
