Malta: Audit requested into Malta’s spending on Eurovision

The Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Carmelo Abela, has requested an audit on spending in the last edition of the Eurovision Song Contest held on Saturday in Rotterdam.

The audit has been requested after Minister Abela received reports that part of the budget allocated to the Maltese delegation for Eurovision was used with various betting houses to boost Malta’s chances of winning this festival.
