TVM is informed that a 7-year-old boy lost his life this morning after being run over by a bulldozer at a quarry in Ta’ Kandja limits of Siggiewi. The accident happened at around 7.05am at the quarry. From initial investigations, it appears that the bulldozer which was unmanned rolled backwards and hit the boy. The incident happened while a relative of the boy was carrying out some work at the quarry. Source: TVM

Gżira and Sliema residents are upset about concrete walls which have been erected along the promenade in preparation for the construction of a lido. The lido in question was approved back in 2016.
