Malta loses spot in innovation ranking – The Headlines: In-Nazzjon

In-Nazzjon quotes the results of the Global Innovation Index in which Malta lost a place in the space of a year. The paper says Malta held the 16th spot in 2012, dropping to 27th in the 2019 report by UN agency World Intellectual Property Organisation.

Another story in In-Nazzjon says that the UĦ Voice of the Workers is requesting an urgent meeting of the Council for Economic and Social development following increases in the prices of fuel and other consumables. The union is demanding an explanation of changes in pricing.
