Mark Chetcuti has been sworn in as Chief Justice after unanimous approval by Parliament.
The ceremony was led by President George Vella at San Anton Palace this morning.
Present was Prime Minister Robert Abela and Justice Minister Edward Zammit Lewis.
Chetcuti replaces Joseph Azzopardi, who has retired.
