Confirmation today of six new cases of Covid-19 in Malta. This has been announced by Superintendent of Public Health Charmaine Gauci during today’s press conference. The six new cases push up the total number to 299.
Professor Gauci stated that 993 swabs were carried out yesterday, resulting in these new cases, one of which is imported. A one-month-old baby who was in hospital is one of the six new cases.
