Residents have been evacuated from a neighbourhood in Guardamangia, in Malta, as a house and block of apartments adjacent to a construction site collapsed.

Update : A Civil Protection Department official told Times of Malta
Footage and photos from the site show that the left hand side corner of the building collapsed.
This is the second incident of its sort in Malta which happened on Wednesday, as earlier in the day a roof collapsed on a construction site in Swieqi
