Malta Tenant Support founder says legislation should next tackle overcrowding in housing units and quality control – The Headlines: The Independent

The Independent says that the Planning Authority Board will on Thursday decide on an application to build a car showroom adjacent to a fuel station on ODZ land in Tal-Barrani, Żejtun. The plans include a 46-car underground parking area.

The Independent speaks to Malta Tenant Support founder Johanna McRae who says the proposed rentals market bill is only the first step in the needed reform. McRae said that legislation should next tackle overcrowding in housing units and quality control.
