Malta Today leads with the resignation of Opposition MP David Stellini who says that the political system in Malta is too partisan to reap results for the electorate. The Nationalist Party will now co-opt a new MP.
Malta Today also says that the killing is the first racist murder recorded in Malta and describes how the two men together with a third were involved in another incident when they destroyed the bicycle a migrant was riding out of spite.
