Malta: Travel agents expect market to start picking up again

The Independent speaks to the president of the travel agents’ association who said that bookings for outbound tourism are still slow but expects them to pick up soon. Malta is set to reopen its borders to 19 countries on 1 July.

The paper reaches out to PL deputy leader Chris Cardona following claims by the state witness Melvin Theuma linking him to the Caruana Galizia murder. The former minister said he would not allow the party to be harmed by any attempted frame-ups.
