Shortly after 10.00am a traffic accident occurred in Triq Bellavista in San Gwann, between a Nissan van and a Toyota.
As a result of the accident, the two people in the Toyota were trapped in the vehicle, and a rescue operation had to be carried out by the Department of Civil Protection.
