MFSA did not conduct spot checks on Pilatus Bank: The Headlines – The Times

The Times quotes MFSA chief supervisory officer Marianne Scicluna who told the Caruana Galizia public inquiry board on Monday that the authority did not conduct ‘surprise visits’ at Pilatus Bank. She said that the murdered journalist’s blog was used as an open source by the MFSA.

Another report carries a story of a 34-year-old woman who was in critical condition after her long-time partner and father of her two children stabbed her repeatedly in the head on Sunday before giving himself up to the police. Investigators believe that it was a crime of passion.
