Microsoft Updates Greek Government on Cloud Region Investment Progress

Microsoft Greece, Cyprus, and Malta CEO Yanna Andronopoulou this week provided an update on the company’s significant Cloud Region investment to a high-profile government delegation. The briefing took place during a visit to a Microsoft data center currently under construction in Spata, East Attica.

The delegation included Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou, Minister of State Makis Voridis, and Secretary-General for Private Investments Stellina Siarapi. They were also joined by Spata-Artemida Mayor Dimitris Markou.

According to an official Microsoft announcement, Andronopoulou detailed the progress of the investment, emphasizing Microsoft’s global data center implementation strategy.
