An earthquake that had the intensity of 3.3 on the Richter Scale was registered at 5.14 am along the border between Italy and Slovenia.
According to the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), the epicentre was located at a depth of 12 km in Gorizia,
There are no reports of victims or damages.
A few minutes later, another tremor was registered in Italy, this time further South in Sicily. A tremor of the intensity of 2.1 was registered in Biancavilla in Catania.
