Missing Spanish Olympic medalist Blanca Fernandez Ochoa found dead north of Madrid

 A picture taken in an unknown location shows Spanish Olympic medalist Blanca Fernandez Ochoa, 17 December 2014 (issued 04 September 2019).

 According to reports the body of Blanca Fernandez Ochoa was found 04 September 2019, in the mountains in La Penota, a mountain peak near Los Molinos to the north of Madrid, days after she went missing 23 August 2019 after leaving her sister’s home in Aravaca.

Her car was found 01 September 2019 in a parking lot in the mountains where the police found her ID card, her driving license and 15 euros.

Madrid-born Fernandez Ochoa was the first Spanish woman to win a medal at the Winter Olympics, claiming bronze in the slalom at the 1992 Games in Albertville, France.
